Recently, in fact just last Thursday we had 14 number of staff terminated from our company with the reason of they are redundant headcount. My team and myself being the IT function got to do all the usual task such as disabling their access to email, application and office premise.
Its kind of sad to see these things happen, although it happen many time in my past working experience. IMHO, they are just some poor fellow colleagues whom got expend off due to the wrong decision making by the management.
Actually, it had been in my mind many years ago ever since the global economic change there is no such thing as lifetime career. As a result, the idea of starting my own business had been quite make tempting. But what business should start/run? Running a PC repair shop? Start a franchise business? *arghhhh*
